Roll-bond heat exchangers for solar industry

Roll-bond heat exchangers are highly suitable for hybrid photovoltaic-thermal systems, where electrical and thermal energy are generated simultaneously.

The extra-flat one-side inflated Roll-bond structure ensures excellent surface contact with the photovoltaic module. This enables effective cooling of the PV cells and can improve photovoltaic efficiency by 10–20 % while simultaneously producing usable thermal energy.

Our production process allows the scalable combination of multiple Roll-bond plates to create large, high-performance flat solar absorbers. These are applied in flat plate collector systems for district heating networks, industrial heat supply, and utility-scale solar thermal projects.
